United States — B1/B2
B1 (business meetings) and B2 (tourism, family, medical) are usually issued together. Visa fee USD 185, biometrics at Ahmedabad VAC, in-person interview at Mumbai or Delhi consulate.
Indian passport holders typically get a 10-year multi-entry visa once approved. Each entry stay is decided by CBP at the port (usually up to 6 months).
File needs: DS-160, photograph (5x5cm white background), bank statements (6 months), ITRs (3 years), property documents, employer or business proof, invitation letter from US relative with their I-797/EAD/Green Card or naturalisation copy.
Officer cares about return intent. The trick is not to over-prepare or sound rehearsed — natural answers about why you are visiting, who is paying, and when you will return.
Schengen, UK Standard Visitor and Australia 600
Schengen short-stay 90-day visa covers 27 countries. File via the country of main stay — France, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland are popular for VV tourists. Travel medical insurance with €30,000 minimum cover is mandatory.
UK Standard Visitor allows up to 6 months per visit, ideal for family weddings or graduations. Visa fee £127. File online at gov.uk, biometrics at VFS. Decisions usually 3-6 weeks.
Australia subclass 600 has Tourist, Sponsored Family and Business streams. For most VV families it is Tourist Stream, fee from AUD 200, lodged via ImmiAccount. We have multi-entry 1-3 year approvals for repeat visitors.
For all three, a one-page cover letter from us framing the trip and ties to India makes a real difference at the visa officer desk.
Canada — TRV and Super Visa
Canada TRV (Temporary Resident Visa) for tourism or family visit. Application fee CAD 100, biometrics CAD 85. Decisions typically 4-8 weeks but variable.
Super Visa is purpose-built for parents and grandparents of Canadian PR or citizens. Multi-entry up to 10 years, each stay up to 5 years. Inviter needs to meet LICO income test, applicant needs medical exam from a panel doctor and Canadian insurance with C$100,000 emergency cover for at least one year.
Many VV parents pick Super Visa over TRV because it allows long stays without re-entry. We handle the medical, insurance comparison and inviter income paperwork.
For both Canada and Australia, do not book non-refundable flights until visa is in hand.
