IELTS Coaching in Nadiad

Most students walk in stuck at 6.0 in Writing or 6.5 overall. Our Nadiad batches are capped at 12 and run by trainers who scored 8.0 themselves — so feedback is specific, not generic.

What our IELTS prep in Nadiad gets right

Trainers with 8.0+ on record

Every IELTS faculty member at the Nadiad branch has scored 8.0 or higher overall. They explain the 9-band descriptors from inside the exam, not from a textbook chapter.

Diagnostic before package

Day-one full mock test (Listening 30 min, Reading 60 min, Writing 60 min, Speaking 11-14 min). We tell you whether 4 weeks or 12 weeks is realistic — no upselling.

Batches capped at 12

Speaking practice needs airtime. With 12 students per batch, you get two cue-card turns and one Part 3 grilling per session — not one turn a week.

Writing feedback inside 48 hours

Task 1 and Task 2 are the choke point for most Charotar students. Every essay you submit comes back graded with band-by-band notes — Task Achievement, Coherence, Lexical Resource, Grammar — within two days.

Real Cambridge listening tests

We use Cambridge IELTS books 14 to 18 in lab — the actual test publisher. No re-recorded knock-offs that don't match the British and Australian accents you'll hear on test day.

Slots that fit Nadiad commuters

Early 7 am batch for students bussing in from Kapadvanj and Kathlal, late 7 pm batch for those finishing college at IRMA or Chandubhai S. Patel. Make-up classes are free.

Inside the IELTS programme

Exam structure — what you'll actually face

IELTS Academic has four modules: Listening (30 minutes, 40 questions, 4 sections), Reading (60 minutes, 40 questions, 3 passages), Writing (60 minutes — Task 1 is 150 words, Task 2 is 250 words), and Speaking (11 to 14 minutes, 3 parts). Total active test time is about 2 hours 45 minutes; Speaking is often booked on a different day.

General Training swaps the academic Reading passages for workplace and everyday-life texts, and Writing Task 1 becomes a letter rather than a chart description. Most Nadiad students take Academic for university; PR aspirants and dependents take General.

Scoring runs from band 1 to band 9 in 0.5 increments. You'll see four module bands and one overall — the overall is the average rounded to the nearest half-band. So 6.5 + 6.5 + 7.0 + 7.0 = 6.75, which rounds to 7.0.

What target bands map to which destinations

Canadian community colleges (Conestoga, Centennial, Seneca, Humber): 6.0 minimum overall, no band below 5.5. Universities like Toronto Metropolitan, York, McMaster: usually 6.5 minimum overall, no band below 6.0.

UK universities: most ask 6.5 overall with 6.0 in each band; top Russell Group programs ask 7.0 overall. Australia: 6.5 overall is the standard for Group of Eight. Australian PR (skilled visa) needs 7.0 each band for 'Proficient English' bonus points.

Canada Express Entry: CLB 9 across the board (which is roughly IELTS GT Listening 8.0, Reading 7.0, Writing 7.0, Speaking 7.0) gets you maximum language points. Don't over-prepare past your target — every extra band is months of extra prep time.

Sample 8-week timeline

Week 1: Diagnostic mock + introduction to band descriptors. Week 2: Listening Sections 1-2 drills, Writing Task 1 charts, Reading skimming/scanning. Week 3: Listening 3-4, Writing Task 1 process diagrams and maps, Reading inference questions.

Week 4: Mid-programme mock test, Speaking Part 1 practice, Writing Task 2 opinion essays. Week 5: Speaking Part 2 cue cards, Writing Task 2 problem-solution and discussion essays. Week 6: Reading matching headings and True/False/Not Given, Speaking Part 3 abstract questions.

Week 7: Full mock, weak-area remediation. Week 8: Final mock, exam-day strategy session, slot booking at IDP or British Council Ahmedabad.

What's included in your fee

Live classes (4 to 6 days a week depending on batch type), our internal Writing and Speaking workbook, two Cambridge IELTS practice books, online mock-test portal access, weekly graded mocks, individual Writing feedback, and one free retake of any module mock if you score below your target.

From walk-in to band 7 — typical journey

  1. 1

    Free counselling and diagnostic

30-minute chat about your target country and intake, followed by a full IELTS mock test. We score it the same day and discuss realistic prep length.

  2. 2

Choose a batch — regular, weekend or one-on-one

Regular weekday is most affordable. Weekend works for college students. One-on-one is for students with very specific weak areas (often Writing Task 2).

  3. 3

    Coaching plus weekly mocks

Daily classes work through Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking in rotation. Two graded mocks per week show your trajectory.

  4. 4

Writing and Speaking polish — last 2 weeks

Final fortnight focuses on the two modules where most Nadiad students leak band points. One-on-one Speaking simulations with random examiners.

  5. 5

    Slot booking and exam day

We book your IDP or British Council slot at Ahmedabad. Computer-delivered or paper-based — your choice; we'll explain trade-offs.

  6. 6

    Result and next steps

Results in 3 to 5 days for computer-delivered, 13 days for paper. If you missed your target, we have a free 4-week refresher batch you can join.

Recent IELTS results from our Nadiad batches

5 out of 5 stars
I had taken IELTS twice and was stuck at 6.0 in Writing each time. The trainer rewrote my Task 2 line by line for two weeks and explained why my conclusion was bringing the band down. Hit 7.0 Writing on third attempt.

Hetvi P., Nadiad

IELTS 7.5 overall (L8.0 R7.5 W7.0 S7.5)

Coming from Kathlal I needed an early batch. They opened a 7 am slot for four of us bussing in. Eight weeks later I had a 7.0 overall and was admitted to Birmingham City University.

Dhruv M., Kathlal

IELTS 7.0 overall, UK Master's intake

Listening was my weak area — Australian accents always tripped me up. Two weeks of focused Cambridge book 17 drills and I went from 6.0 to 7.5 in that module alone.
