SDS (Student Direct Stream) — the fast lane
SDS is processed in roughly 20 calendar days when the file is clean. Eligibility: IELTS Academic 6.0 in each band (or PTE Academic 60+), GIC of CAD 20,635 from an approved Canadian bank, first-year tuition paid, DLI offer letter, upfront medical, and clean academic record.
We handle the GIC opening, tuition wire transfer, IRCC IMM forms, biometrics scheduling at VFS Ahmedabad, and the digital file submission. Most Nadiad students who meet the IELTS 6.0-each-band bar see decisions inside three weeks.
Fees and policy thresholds (GIC amount, tuition rules, language minimums) are reviewed annually by IRCC. Confirm the current figure with our team before paying anything.
Non-SDS — when SDS is not the right fit
If you are at IELTS 5.5 in any band, do not have first-year tuition liquid, or your GIC bank is not on the SDS list, Non-SDS is your route. Processing is slower (8 to 12 weeks typically), but with a stronger SOP and properly explained financials the approval rate stays healthy.
Non-SDS also suits students with academic gaps, backlogs or mature applicants over 25. Our Nadiad team has filed Non-SDS for diploma students at Conestoga and bachelor transfers at TRU and Cape Breton.
DLI shortlisting and PGWP planning
Not every Canadian college is on the IRCC PGWP list, and the rules tightened in 2024 for public-private partnership programs. Before you pay an application fee anywhere we cross-check the program against the latest DLI and PGWP eligibility list.
Province choice affects rent, part-time hours and PR pathway. Ontario and BC dominate Charotar applications, but Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta PNP routes are increasingly filed from our Nadiad office for students targeting faster PR.
SOP, LORs and financial file
SOP is drafted by you with our writer in two structured rounds. We anchor it on your specific program choice, why this DLI over Indian alternatives, your funding plan, and your post-study intent. Generic SOP templates trigger refusals — we have seen the patterns.
Financials cover income tax returns of sponsor, six-month bank statements, property and FD valuations, and a clear loan letter if applicable. Our checklist is updated each time IRCC publishes a new bulletin.
Biometrics, medicals and pre-departure
Biometrics happen at VFS Ahmedabad — we book the slot and brief you on what to carry. Medical is at IRCC-empanelled panel physicians in Ahmedabad or Vadodara. Once the COPR or PPR letter arrives, our pre-departure session covers GIC activation in Canada, SIM, first-week food, and university orientation.
Six months after you land we still pick up the phone for course-add-drop, off-campus work permission and PGWP timing. Nadiad is not a one-and-done office.
