PTE Coaching in Nadiad

PTE is a machine-scored test — your microphone setup matters as much as your fluency. Our Nadiad lab uses real test headsets and a quiet booth so your Re-tell Lecture isn't penalised for room noise.

Why students from Kheda district choose us for PTE

Real PTE-style headsets and quiet booth

PTE microphones penalise background noise. Our lab has individual booths with the same Sennheiser-equivalent headsets used at Pearson centres. Practice conditions match exam conditions.

Machine-score logic, not just answer rules

PTE scores oral fluency, content, pronunciation and form independently. A grammatically perfect Describe Image with three 'um's can score lower than a slightly off-grammar one with smooth pacing. We teach what the algorithm rewards.

Faculty with PTE 85+ on record

Trainers who have personally scored 85+ on PTE Academic. They know the difference between Re-tell Lecture content density and Repeat Sentence rhythm — and teach the templates accordingly.

6-week intensive plans

Most students hit 79+ in 6 weeks. PTE rewards exam strategy more than language fundamentals, so well-prepared candidates from English-medium schools usually finish faster than IELTS prep.

Small batches with full lab access

Batch cap of 10 with daily 90-minute lab time per student. You're not sharing a single computer — every student has their own booth.

Australian and Canadian university focus

PTE is the preferred test for Australia (especially after the GTE policy changes) and is widely accepted in Canada and the UK now. We tune target scores to your destination's program-level requirement.

Inside the PTE programme

PTE structure — what you'll face

PTE Academic is a single 2-hour computer-based test with 3 sections: Speaking & Writing (54-67 minutes), Reading (29-30 minutes), Listening (30-43 minutes). All sections are integrated — your Speaking score, for example, is influenced by both Speaking tasks and integrated Listening tasks.

20 task types across the test: Read Aloud, Repeat Sentence, Describe Image, Re-tell Lecture, Answer Short Question, Summarize Written Text, Essay, Multiple Choice, Re-order Paragraphs, Fill in Blanks, Summarize Spoken Text, Highlight Correct Summary, Highlight Incorrect Words, Write from Dictation. Each tests specific algorithm-friendly skills.

Scoring is 10 to 90 in 1-point increments — much finer than IELTS bands. 65 = IELTS 6.5; 79 = IELTS 7.0 in most universities' equivalence tables. The fee is around 14,700 INR and the test is delivered at Pearson VUE centres in Ahmedabad and Vadodara.

Where most Nadiad students leak points

Read Aloud — students rush. The algorithm rewards smooth pacing at about 110-120 words per minute, not fast reading. We slow you down in week one.

Re-tell Lecture — students paraphrase too aggressively. Content score wants the keywords from the lecture, not your interpretation. Template plus keyword retention is the formula.

Write from Dictation — usually the highest-leverage task because it scores both Writing and Listening. We drill 30 sentences a session in week 4 onwards.

Summarize Written Text — single sentence, 5 to 75 words, must include all main points. Most students write fragments or run-on sentences. Sentence-architecture work fixes this.

PTE vs IELTS — which is right for you

PTE is faster (2 hours vs 2h45m), entirely computer-based, results in 1 to 2 days versus IELTS's 3 to 13 days. It's machine-scored so there's no examiner subjectivity. Many students who fluctuate between IELTS 6.5 and 7.0 in Speaking find PTE more consistent.

PTE is preferred for Australia post-GTE policy. Canadian colleges and universities increasingly accept it. UK accepts it for SELT-equivalent purposes. Some German technical universities still prefer IELTS or TOEFL — confirm with your shortlist.

If you have stage fright with face-to-face Speaking, PTE removes that — you talk to a microphone, not an examiner. If you write much faster by hand than by typing, IELTS paper might suit you better.

Sample 6-week PTE plan

Week 1: Diagnostic mock, all 20 task types overview, Read Aloud and Repeat Sentence pacing drills. Week 2: Describe Image template, Re-tell Lecture template, Answer Short Question vocabulary.

I had IELTS 6.0 in Speaking and couldn't push past it after two attempts. Switched to PTE and got 79 overall in 5 weeks. The microphone-vs-examiner difference was huge for me.

Re-tell Lecture was killing me — I kept paraphrasing instead of using keywords. Two weeks of template practice and my score went from 65 to 82.

Krish J., Nadiad

PTE 82 overall, University of Adelaide

I needed PTE quickly — Australia 500 application deadline. Six weeks intensive in the lab. The Write from Dictation drills carried me through Listening and Writing both.
