The living expenses in the UK can vary greatly depending on which city you choose to live in. Although, international students opting to study inside London are required to show maintenance funds of £1,334 per month for up to the 9 months which equals to £12006, and for those opting to study outside London are required to show £1,023 per month for up to 9 months which equals to £9207.

 

This maintenance fund should be 28 days old and is required to be shown by students or their parents’ only. The accepted fund types are savings account, term deposit (fixed deposit) or education loan. Other types of funds like Post Deposits, LIC Investments, Mutual Funds Investments or Stock Exchange are not accepted.
